The following page is a list of common questions asked by insurance companies before they will be able to quote you for motor insurance.
Although there may be a number of reasons tey ask a particular question, the second column indicated the primary reason - either to identify the policy holder and car in the event of a claim OR to assess the risk OR both.
The third column provides further information that may be of use. Care must be taken when evaluating these comments. We cannot guarantee that they are correct, and certainly they will not be correct for every driver or insurance comapny.
It is very important that you answer ALL the questions asked by your insurer. Errors or ommissions, either by intent or accident, can result in your policy being voided AT THE TIME OF A CLAIM. In this eventuality, you would probably have no recourse to the insurance company and you'd have lost your premium and be considered as an uninsured driver.
However, that said, you may be able to use the information in column three to help you understand how your premium is calculated.
